There truly is something special about photographing our clients in their curated home. We swoon over interior design, so let’s showcase your newly designed nursery or family room that everyone finds their self in after a long day. With an in-home session the logistics are minimal; no worries of the weather or if a park will be crowded. When the worries are laid to rest we can relax and nothing beats comfort. We notice that everyone who’s photographed feels a sense of comfort when we’re in their home. Comfort is the secret sauce for us to easily grab those organic candids we love so much.

The Sentiments Trump Everything – In Our Lens!

We recognize the sentimental value of photographing in your home. For many of our clients we see first time home buyers. That is such a flex and should be acknowledged. And when the seasons of life change, requiring you to move either for work or maybe a growing family, you have these images to revisit- How special! And lastly, we love in-home sessions where children are eager to show off. An in-home session wouldn’t be complete without them sharing with us their interests, where they play, build forts and watch movies on family night. They can be such proud little nuggets!

Natural Light is our BFF.

When planning for an in-home session I ask that you notice the natural lighting throughout the day in the common areas. That will give us an idea of when we should begin our session to best utilize the natural light. But never fret if the natural light doesn’t flood your living spaces- we always come prepared with our flash when needed. We also enjoy taking things outside if the weather allows. Your backyard oasis is worthy of being documented, too.
